STRENGTHENING FAMILIES IS MY PASSION
Even the most loving of families have challenges at times. It is normal for stressful circumstances to take a toll on family life and the wellbeing of its members. I work with teens to strengthen self-esteem and support their constructive navigation of social, academic and family circumstances. I work with parents to deepen understanding of child development, improve communication within their families and adopt better discipline and conflict resolution skills. Whether this involves helping couples align on a parenting approach or simply supporting an individual parent with their own stress as they navigate family needs, I am passionate about providing support to positively impact the wellbeing of all family members.
I have worked with children and teens of all ages, including as a school counselor at the elementary, middle school and high school levels, and a teen counseling clinic. I am a Certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). I will meet with you to understand the challenges your family is facing, and then make recommendations for the approach that seems most effective for meeting the needs of all involved.
